This year we built around 4 planters, which we donated to our various administration offices and to some teachers. We couldn't get as much done as we wanted to because of external constraints and lack of communication. We learned so much as a team about gardening and its impact on the environment and we enjoyed giving out planters and raising awareness for our environment.
Reflection
As a team, this project definitely taught us how to work better as a team and communicate effectively to get the project done. However, as a result of our lack of communication, we couldn't get a lot of things done that we planned to. This experience definitely resolved us to make a goal to communicate better for our next project and expand our scope to reach people beyond our school community. Overall, though, we are very happy with the way this project turned out, and that we were able to raise awareness for the environment while learning a new skill ourselves.
